Founded in 1994 by George Brinner and his best friend Kahale Akina, Kahale’s Beach Club quickly became a beloved fixture in the Maui community. In 2015, Katie & Sumner Stewart took over, renaming it Kahale’s Maui’s Local Dive Bar, while keeping the spirit of camaraderie and aloha alive.
